New Moon is the second book in the Twilight saga. In this book, Edward leaves Bella because he believes he is the reaon that vampires are after her. Bella goes into adeep depression without Edward. She realizes that the only way she can see him is if she does something dangerous.
When Edward finds out that she jumped off a cliff, he thinks she’s dead and tries to get himself killed by exposing his vampire state to humans.
Bella ends up stopping Edward and they are watched by the Volturi (a group of vampires).
The next story in the series is Eclipse.
