Live-brary Databases is a collection of research materials, including magazine and newspaper articles, reference books, homework help and more. Live-brary has also partnered with Overdrive, Ebsco and Indieflix to offer thousands of downloadable eBooks, audiobooks and movies.
The Babylon Public Library Book Discussion Club usually meets the third Wednesday of the month. Please check Calendar of Events for confirmation. All are welcome to join this lively discussion group! Our Homebound program provides a convenient way for homebound Babylon Public Library cardholders of all ages to obtain and return library materials by mail.
Thanks to the Friends of the Babylon Public Library, patrons can now reserve museum passes. These passes provide free admission to some of the areas most popular museums. All you need is an adult library card in good standing.
The library also maintains a Local History Reference Collection and several newspapers on microfilm.
FamilySearch’s Microfilm Ordering service is your gateway to a vast collection of genealogical and historical records. The service allows you to reserve and loan films to family history centers and affiliate libraries.
Salem History is a robust online database that includes the complete content of printed reference sets.
