The main character, Scout Finch, and her brother Jem live in a small town called Maycomb with their best friend Dill who visits every summer. They have a scary neighbor who never leaves his house whose name is Boo Radley. Scout’s father Atticus is a defense attorney who winds up having to defend an African American client, Tom Robinson, who was accused of raping a young woman by the name of Mayella Ewell. The story goes on by exposing the problems in society such as racism and rumours. This book was a very good read and I would recommend it to a friend.
